In my quest to be completely irresponsible with what little money I have left before I get a job, I bought two CDs today. Oh, and I bought a computer gammie (Neverwinter Nights) for $100, but we're talking CDs here, so I won't mention that further.

The CDs were the new Red Hot Chili Peppers one, and... wait for it...

"Open Up And Say... Ahh!" Yep, finally got Poison's second album on CD! I've only ever heard this stuff on vinyl, so it's about time I got the CD.

Rock on.

I also concur with the post above that mentions discussion of multiplayer abilities in said game...
*strikes Barbarian pose*

Well, I started playing said game, and it's OK so far. Can't really say much about the multiplayer side of things yet, though. Certainly sounds fun, though - pity you probably need a kick-bottom connection to play it, but perhaps you don't, who knows?

Spawny, have you used the Elder Scrolls Construction Kit that came with Morrowind yet? Doesn't help that there are no instructions on it whatsoever!

Just read that if you have a 56K connection, then you can only play with one other person, and if you have cable, then about 8.

Judging by your :p I'm guessing you have a kick-bottom connection :)

Nope, I havent used the construction kit yet, I dont have the patience for that kind of thing, my Barbarian brain must smash! :D

According to their website, to play a game involving more than one other person you must have broadband. I'm not sure what I will do. I know one thing for sure though, I refuse to get Telstra, or any of the current broadband packages with the ridiculous 500M or 3G caps.

Still have to get a 3d card to play the game though. Will probably wait a bit now. Just spent over $100 this weekend on CDs and DVDs. Also bought a new DVD drive for the computer.

Any of you guys heard or shop at a computer store called Gamedude? I had to wait around 1 1/2 hours in line to buy the drive! If I had known it would be that long I would have gone somewhere else. I did have my walkman and Opeth's Still Life handy, so it wasn't all bad. :D

The nerds will inherit the Earth Coops, remember that when we are forcing you and your band to play their 36th set in 48 hours :D

I must get that on CD one day too. I only have the vinyl. $2 it was. Cover in almost perfect condition and only one small scratch (slight skip in the intro of Fallen Angel).

Hahaha I've mastered it now. I know these guys who have like 1600 albums on CD and get most really cheap, they are the ultimate bargain hunters and I'd talk to them and they'd be like "Ahhh just went shopping, I bought... (insert 12 album names here)" all at really cheap prices. I always thought "how the hell do they do it!!!" but I've been getting the hang of bargain hunting myself lately heheh.

I got Van Halen - 5150 FREE in a "free to a good home box" amongst all these records with wrecked covers and scratched vinyls. The only difference was... mine was near mint! Not a scratch on it and a perfect cover still with the picture/lyric sleeve. Why it was in there I do not know!

When I am running the world, it will be LAW to make noise and sing along, so you have nothing to fear :D

5150 was the first Van Halen album I ever got. Marvellous effort that, as Richie would say. Leaves all the Roth era stuff for dead IMHO :headbang:.

Enjoy your computer game, lads. I'm a reformed Quake addict so I don't play those things anymore. Plus, they're FAR too expensive and I don't have enough memory to run them properly.
