I'm sorry but something HAS to be said about Giuseppe Orlando from Novembre. He is a fucking machine, and is becoming my favorite drummer. Seriously, his drumming is maniacal, its so damn powerful and so damn smart. His fills are nuts, so are his kicks and cymbal work. I can't think I like better a better drummer than Giuseppe, his drumming on the first 3 Novembre albums are like...*droooooools*

uh, nick barker(dimmu borgir) and flo mournier(cryptopsy), and bow down and worpship gene hoglan:notworthy:

Barker is a madman on the set. Almost takes away from the fact that he uses triggers. But who doesn't these days.

Tony Laureano from Nile. Listen to some of the stuff that he does on In Their Darkened Shrines, and not just nonstop blastbeats (thankfully, Nile rarely uses an onslaught of blastbeats, they just throw them in their for spice when needed, one of the main reasons why I like the band), he is beating the shit out of his set.

Both of the Orlandos are just amazing. I love Carmelo's voice...it has such feeling to it.

amen. on "conservatory resonance" when he screams "impossible... to FIIIIIIND!", my heart jumps in my chest.

and yes, joe is a great drummer. i started noticing it this summer when i listened to novembrine waltz while staining plywood.

Yes, this is very true. He is an extraordinary drummer who can put many drummers to shame. One of the reasons that Novembre is the great band that they are is in fact due to the drummming talent of Giuseppe. His double bass is freakin tight and always appears at interesting moments.

One of my favrouite drummers is David Sandstrom from Refused, something about the way he plays really strikes a chord with me...

He's never gotten much recognition for his AMAZING drumming...well since Refused have split up.

They were the ONE and ONLY punk band EVER worth listening to, amazing amazing band who took punk and made it sound fresh, wuth Sandstrom's driving rhythms backing it all up.

Whenever or not he is the best or not, Richard Christy is seriously underrated to me ( he deserves to be at least on the top 3 list and its usually forgotten )( He is the currend iced earth drummer and if you think that is good i can just tell you that he is mediocre and uncreative at BEST when compared to Burning Inside drumming )
