Agreed. Tarrantino will never venture beyond what he's already done, from the perspective of 'style'.
People also need to remember that Kill Bill volume 1 is incomplete. Unlike the LotR trilogy, it was never supposed to be split into segments. It ends completey open ended in the middle of the second act, and so there is little "closure" to the film.
My suggestion is that if you're getting tired of Tarrantino, but still keen to see Kill Bill, I would wait and see them together back-to-back. Volume 1 is very much action driven (the dialogue is minimal to say the least), and Volume 2 is supposed to be much more story driven, obviously closing the third and final act.
Personally, I wouldn't compare Kill Bill to other Tarrantino films until Vol 1 and 2 are packaged together as one complete entity.
