"Ferris Bueller's Day Off"
Funny; not laugh-out-loud funny, but funny in a subtle sort of way.

"The Wedding Date"
Blah, my girlfriend wanted to see it. Chick flick; wasn't the worst thing that could happen. I figured I could put up with it because she usually watches what I want. Not recommended.

Match Point was pretty damn cool ... even if for looking at Johansen's just stunning little bod
Probably wont get to see it as it's due tomorrow and I work and I'm not paying fucking Blockbuster late fees. I guess the wife can stare at Johannsen's little bod for me.
Anyway, just got back a little while ago from The Departed. FUCKING AWESOME. Go see it. Miami Vice>The Departed but only for reasons I can't reveal to avoid spoilage. Lemme me know what you think.

Match Point held my interest but was, at the same time, real boring. Worth seeing just for the amusing ending. Reminded me of how I laughed during American Psycho and wasn't sure if I was supposed to or not.

THE DEPARTED ... total redemption for Scorsese after The Aviator and Gangs of New York ... I thought it was even better than Casino.

Great, great cast ... Alec Baldwin fucking ruled though  , and so did DeCaprio.

I remember a Baldwin interview going back maybe 10 years ago where mentioned how he always auditioned for Scorsese flicks and never got a part, and how this was his dream ... and man he ripped it up in this one ... fucking great!

I think I'll have to watch it again tonight, with less alcohol in my system.

I managed to follow it just about until the end, where he comes home, and then it totally loses me.

redemption is not needed after gangs of new york, since it ruled.

but fuck man, does dicaprio have incriminating pictures of scorsese or something?

I do want to see this, even though I'm generally avoiding remakes. But, I figure if anyone can put a new spin on a concept, Scorsese can.

"The Mothman Prophecies"
Awesome movie. I used to read about this shit when I was younger. I don't know how accurately it follows the real accounts, but you can't expect Hollywood to not add any of their own shit in.
