300 was amazing!
give it an A- because they added extra scenes that were not in the comic

The Departed

So Scorcese gets snubbed by the academy for Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, and Goodfellas....and they give him the best oscar for this remake? Feels like charity to me.

Good film -- very good in fact -- but far from his best work. If Goodfellas is a 10/10, this is an 8/10.

At least they gave him an Oscar for a film in the style for what he is best known for ... if he would have gotten one for Gangs of New York for example ... now that would have been charity.

"Borat" was entertaining and mildly funny, but disappointing overall. I expected funnier.

"The Number 23" was pretty good. One of those movies that makes you wonder how someone could figure all that out.

Taxi Driver

Just watched this on tv. I've never been particularly into movies, but this is among the best I've ever seen. And I know that a lot of people would consider it heresy that I haven't seen it sooner. But then again there are 100 other movies that would be considered as such that I haven't seen as well, so maybe I should get a move on and start educating myself in film history.

Actually its Curse of the Golden Flower and it was really good. Children Of Men as awesome. I didnt waste my time with Happy feet. Turistas was actually good and the new Van Wilder wasnt bad either. Turistas surprised the hell outta me.

Blood Diamond

Great film. dragged in places. glad to see dicaprio taking these kinda roles. the dude can act. jennifer connelly is hot
