Ive seen Holy Mountain, which was also fantastic. After watching it a second time I think ive come to the conclusion that El Topo is the wierdest movie ever, yet so damn good.IOfTheStorm said:

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
Dragged a bit towards the end, but was visually very cool and an entertaining movie overall. Definitely a great kids movie, but enough there for adults to enjoy too.
Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Probably Wes Anderson's weakest work, but still a great flick. It could've used about 10 or 15 minutes cut out to make it pace better, but it was signature Wes Anderson quirkiness througout. Bill Murray rules, too.

Does Lemony Snicket's pretend it's Harry Potter or does it stand on its own? I kinda got that vibe from a few previews, but still would like to see it.

I didn't like the opening scene for BRII, it went on too long. The only part I enjoyed was.... uhhmmmm... were there some titties in it? If so I'm sure they rocked. The original didn't need a sequel.
I'll second the Garden State recommendation; that movie is fantastic.
Lemony Snicket is better than Harry Potter, IMO. Less kiddy, more deranged humor, and Jim Carrey is perfect.

I went to go rent 21 Grams and it was out. I got pissed. I then came across Hero, which was out as well. I got even more pissed and left.

Its true, Battle Royale 1 is very good, but I did like 2 a good deal as well. That one gets a lot of flac from hardcore fans though ive noticed. My friend got both movies together in a dvd from 5 minutes to live.

EDIT: I don't remember how much I paid, it was probably more than that though. No more than $15 though, I wouldn't've bought it otherwise.

Yep, this movie blew me away. The wife loved it, too. One of the better movies I've seen in a long time.
