cool, will check out. :)

hey does anyone know that one silent film that's like 21 minutes long and is just a series of ill/disturbing images? i believe haddsie talked about it earlier in this thread but that'll be a bitch to find w/o the search feature. :Smug:

apparently it was a huge influence on david lynch and i can't remember the damn name of it.

army of darkness is trash

it doesn't deserve to have "Evil Dead" in its title :p

I really want to see Howl's Moving Castle, since I really enjoy Mononoke and Spirited Away.. been thinking about watching castle in the sky..

but alas for Howl's Moving Castle I have no idea when its gonna be out on DVD here, and the limited screening wasn't showing anywhere nearby when it was in theaters

that movie was a pisser and completely caught me off guard as well ... real funny shit

saw LAYER CAKE ... all of you into SNATCH and the like should eat this up ... much more subtle and cool than Snatch

THE INTERPRETER ... genuinelly suspensful and well acted ... best of Hollywood I have seen in a long long time ... but of course with some old school Sydney Pollack tricks in directing you cannot go wrong

Big thumbs up for this one ...

Just saw A History Of Violence, actually really enjoyed it. Slow moving, but well done and very enjoyable to watch.

Meh, I saw that too. I heard it described as a modern day Western but it looked like that mixed with the Bourne series or something from the previews. I was disappointed because it was so damned thin and seemed really forced at times.
