I really want to see Howl's Moving Castle, since I really enjoy Mononoke and Spirited Away.. been thinking about watching castle in the sky..

but alas for Howl's Moving Castle I have no idea when its gonna be out on DVD here, and the limited screening wasn't showing anywhere nearby when it was in theaters

those are the 4 Miyazaki movies I've seen (aside from trying to watch Kiki's Delivery Service 3 times while stoned and getting bored each time)

I rented Castle in the Sky and watched it like 3 times in 2 days, fucking amazing and epic. Actually i have it from the library and might watch it tonight once i get me some weed. Miyazaki = unbelievable

oh hm, the previews for Castle in the Sky seem to make it look a bit childish, a la Kiki's Delivery Service (not that I've seen that either, just an assumption)

so that's what has caused me to have reservations about seeing it

ok, my sister netflixed the dvd, and I made a copy a few days ago, and then she borrowed my copy last night to watch it.. so I'll check it out in the near future

Just bought City of God on DVD, anyone seen this yet? I'll watch it tonight.

Pick up Carandiru next. Almost as good as City of God, but not quite. Same director, same type of film.

Just saw Mr & Mrs Smith , which was as expected, War Of The Worlds which was also Meh, and Oliver Twist which I enjoyed, although it wasn't great

Genius, but that goes without saying for all of Mel Brooks' films that I've seen.
