I also saw The Missing finally and was thoroughly underwhelmed. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't that good either. Just average and not all that interesting.

One of the few movies in my life that I could not even finish watching ... what a snoozefest! And this is from Ron Howard !?!?!?

I was totally sold on what I thought would be a horror movie, but it turned out to be a simple 'whodunnit' affair that a retarded monkey could figure out within the first 10 minutes. I agree. I was expecting some sort of "We bought an old house that people died in and now they want us to die too" type of horror flick. I was very disappointed with what I was given. I didn't finish it because the ending was all too obvious.

Walking Tall - terrible movie. only redeemable part is when the main chick is running around in her pink bra for like 20 minutes, 'cause she's pretty hot if a bit small. The plot is ludicrous, the action scenes are horribly directed (unless you like that super close-up shaky camera shit where you can't really tell what's going on), and it's so short you wonder why they didn't fill in some of the gaping plot holes.

I only saw it 'cause it was free; a friend of mine works at a movie theater and they were previewing it to make sure it was spliced together right.

our web guy had a pass to see a sneak preview of Hellboy the other day; he loved it. the CNN guy liked it as well. supposedly one of the few "comic book" movies to really come from a "comic book" direction.

Ooh, just got back from seeing Takeshi Kitano's latest Zatoichi. Lots of CGI gore, which wasn't all that great, but a very entertaining and different (for Kitano) film

HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG ... didn't know what to expect from this one ... but it was really freaking disturbing .. not in a "horror" way but rather in a "reality" way.

it was definetelly depressing ... the ending completely took me by surprise ... i was thinking it will turn into a cheesy cat and mouse thriller ... but this was far worse.
