Spider-Man 2
Not gonna ruin it, but I will say that it's better than the first one. X-Men is still my favorite comic movie series, but I might actually see Spidey 2 more than once unlike the first which I have yet to see again (despite enjoying it, it just didn't stick with me).
Harry Potter 3
Better than the first one, never saw the second. Still a kid's movie, but a more enjoyable and darker one.
Dodgeball
Funniest movie since Zoolander. This is the kind of movie Ben Stiller was made to be in. I laughed really hard many many times. The trailers don't do it justice, but at least they don't show all of the funny stuff like most comedies.

While I'd hardly call it the greatest of all time, the Godfather was a good movie. I didn't care much for Apocalypse Now, but I saw it when I was younger so I should give it another go. I think war movies in general are overrated; it's like an automatic star is added just for being about war.
I should clarify. I don't think The Godfather is awful or anything, but like jimbob, it's hardly the best movie ever made like so many want to claim.
That being said, Part 2 was the best in the trilogy.

Yeah but Apocalypse Now isn't like most war movies. Actually it's not like most movies at all. Too bad the book it was based on is the worst shit to ever hit a printing press.

The Godfather is also a beautiful movie to look at. As is Casablanca. The art direction put to film is outstanding, and can probably never be equalled. That's why films like these are studied for years and years at the best film & theatre schools, or are hailed by movie journalists worldwide.
The sequence where Michael Corleone visits his father, Vito, in the hospital after he's been shot, and then needs to move him and await the killers to arrive, could quite possibly be the greatest 10 minutes put to film ever. It's as close to perfect as you can get, with the directing, sound editing, screenplay, and of course, the 'oak' colour lighting coming together in perfection just for that one entire sequence.

Finally watched that, very interesting. Concept exceeded the execution, but was still really good. Seemed too short, but since everything was pretty much explained, it doesn't really need any extra footage.

I thought they kind of rushed the explanation in the end part and was surprised it was over when it was. But it was good, yeah.
As for Apocalypse Now, yeah, "Heart of Darkness" was the most excruciatingly boring book I've ever had to read. I could only read a few pages before I fell asleep.

shrek 2: pretty funny at times and all in all quite entertaining. they've got some great voice casts which really lift the movie; mike myers, eddie murphy,cameron diaz, antonio banderas, john cleese, jennifer saunders (you know, absolutely fabulous).

Ju on: The Grudge, FUCK this has to be the most frightening films I have ever seen, to be honest it was a standard Japanese horror (scary house, revenge, a women who is the spitting image of The Rings Sadako) but it seemed to have something more, if you haven't already please see this! I would be going back to the cinema to see it but our cinema doesn't appreciate the wonder of Japanese cinema and favours more commercial, spoon feeding, American shit

I saw Spiderman 2 on Sunday. I liked it much, dunno which is better, the first one or the second one. But I think a movie succeeds when the audience is basically crying out the desperation of misfortunate love... or something.
