I was thinking this to myself also... I'm not 100 % sure but I thought Sami and Harri were born in Finland and lived in here as kids. But yeah, I'm not certain . That much I know that they speak very good Finnish with a nice Swedish accent.Arch said:Are 3/5 of Kent guys from Finland or were they born in Swedish, but with Finnish descent?
Well not in pop, not in folk or rap, electronic barely has any lyrics and rock are only carbon copies of other things or overhyped mediocre bands like Caifanes ( who cualify as both ripoff ( they started as a cure ripoff ) and mediocre ( they are mediocre nowdays )). As for metal bands most of the ones that one could say have at least moments of brilliance write lyrics in english. And while i am certainly biased against power metal bands they are just really mediocre when compared to lets say Blind Guardian ( who i still dont like but recognize they have more depth and complexity than this Skylard crap everyone loves here ( Mago de Oz its pretty awfull and overhyped too ).rahvin said:thanks delirious and everybody else.
@mis: are things the same in any style? i mean, aside from personal preference you would say that there are no good bands singing in spanish overall? pop, rock, folk, rap, electronic...?
Or at the very least one's ability to write dots :Spin:Villain said:Eläkeläiset, absolutely. Listening to their lyrics will certainly widen both your vocabulary and your mindscape.
