Certainly. Xasthur/Leviathan is almost as good. The Leviathan material there doesn't complement Xasthur quite as well as Nortt does. For people who haven't heard Xasthur or Nortt yet, that split is a great place to start. It's by far the most accessible Xasthur material.

Moonsorrow - Verisäkeet
Bathory - Twilight of the Gods
Bathory - Blood on Ice
Arghoslent - Incorrigible Bigotry
Mörk Gryning - Maelstrom Chaos
Korpiklaani - Tales Along This Road
Finntroll - Midnattens Widunder
Meads of Asphodel - Damascus Steel
Isengard - Høstmørke
Windir - Likferd

Hail - Inheritance of Evilness
Dark Tribe - In Jeraspunta - Die Rückkehr der Tollwütigen Bestie
Sacramentum - Far Away from the Sun
Liers in Wait - Spiritually Uncontrolled Art
Miasma - Changes
Graveland - Thousand Swords
Therion - Beyond Sanctorum
Burzum - Hvis Lyset Tar Oss
Nav' - Halls of Death
Epitaph (Swe) - Seeming Salvation

Judas Priest - Stained Class
Mercyful Fate - Melissa
Mercyful Fate - Don't Break The Oath
Burning Saviours - Hundus
Bathory - Hammerheart

I'm sure there are others, but these are five albums that I really think that I could listen to a RIDICULOUS amount. I know that Burning Saviours is very new, but that album has made a huge impact, for musical and unrelated reasons.

Ozzy - Tribute
Iron Maiden - Live after Death
Carcass - Necroticism
Opeth - Blackwater Park
Slayer - Reign in Blood
Vision of Disorder - Imprint
Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime

MEGADETH Countdown To Extinction

Candlemass - Doomed for Live
Iron Maiden - Live After Death
Slayer - Decade of Aggression

Black Sabbath - Sabotage
Bolt Thrower - ...For Victory
Deicide - When Satan Lives
Immortal - At The Heart of Winter
Skyclad - Live at the Dynamo
Pentagram - Relentless

why is everyone saying forgotten legends. autumn aurora is clearly better

At the Gates - The Red in the Sky is Ours
Slayer - Show No Mercy
Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas
Bruce Dickinson - The Chemical Wedding
Mortal Sin - Mayhemic Destruction
Onslaught - In Search of Sanity
Agalloch - Pale Folklore
Danzig - Danzig II: Lucifuge
Primordial - The Gathering Wilderness
Alchemist - Organasm

They certainly aren't my 10 favourite albums, nor would I say they are necessarily the 10 greatest. But I tend to be able to listen to albums that I think "rock" ad nausiem. Albums like PF and TGW are subtle and soothing and therefore are easy to listen to often.

That leaves AtG and Mayhem - artistically both brilliant. TRITSIO more so (the greatest album / piece of music / piece of art to have ever been created). Each is more rewarding each time I listen to them.

Particularly melodic, brutal, obscure, thrashy/raw albums and so forth have generally been left off, as they are only suitable in reasonable doses - whilst being brilliant (e.g. Kreator - Pleasure to Kill) they are generally too extreme to listen to too often.
