Need help with my Recto Amp Sim

I agree that those tones are bassy. My goal though was not to get a good tone but to tweak my amp sim against real measurements. I'm gonna try other impusles as soon as I'm back home and post some results.

@J.DavisNJ : Unfortunately, no Mac version...

Hows it going now dude? And how long do you think it will be until this gets released? I can't wait for some awesome Boogie grind! Also, will it have a built in impulse loader like your solo C stack plugin had?

Doing great. Getting those reamp tracks to work with is very inspiring. I wish I had that kind of stuff to work with when I did my other sims.
About a release date, I have no idea. Next step is the power amp section and there is a lot of things going on there (phase inverter, power tube, output transformer, negative feedback, etc). Don't know how long it's gonna take to have something working properly. The first version will most likely be a simple amp sim without impulse loader. I have to revisit my convolution algo because there is a lot of bugs pointed out by users.
Thanks for your interest.

Sounds really good LePou! I actually had to revisit the post with the links to the clips to check which side was the real thing(!) :D

I know it´s too soon for this type of requests, but just something to think about after the final version comes out. It would be sweet to have a stereo version with a Tube Screamer sim and an impulse loader built in. I´m so happy that you´re finally working on a Rectifier sim. High expectations!

Hey LePou, I dunno if you have any of the Red Wire impulses, but I bought the Mesa 4x12 pack (for all of $10 US :D) last week, and the TAB 57 Cap 1 inch has become my all-time favorite impulse (even more than the standard 57, the only difference is the transformer), I really recommend giving it a try!

I bought them too a couple of days ago and haven't tried that mic. At the moment I was using the sm57 cap 1 inch + TC30 far fields cap 0 inchs

Ok guys, here is a preliminary version of the complete head with a simplfied version of the power amp (usable only for the neutral settings). Again the real amp is on the right and the sim on the left. Impusle is Recabinet Ghandi (6L6 57 cap grill).

Can't wait to try this. Also LePou, save yourself some trouble on this impulse loader idea man. LeCab already kicks ass. The only thing that keeps it from being the perfect cab sim is the lack of up/down arrows to switch impulses.

and the ability to load a third impulse for some ambience :D, as well as a better display for the impulses name

Wow. I am digging. Big time. I was sliding back and forth between the speakers on my laptop, the sim is still sounding darker, but even so sounds great.

Holy shit LePou - this amp sim is going to be your best yet!!! The Red Head sounds freakin' killer man!!!

Thanks guys.
A big thanks to Justin/monolithsound for his reamp tracks, without them I wouldn't have be able to calibrate sim.
More to come.

I really need to send a donation when it's possible for me. Wont be a big payment because I'm currently unemployed, but your work is worthy of a monetary donation.

I'm actually surprised that not all amp simulation coding happens with reference tracks right there the whole time. I'm glad to hear that you've been able to take it up a notch LePou and I can't wait to use this thing for some monstrous guide tracks.
