Those are indeed adjectives, but they don't apply to Pink Floyd. I can see how you might find early works like Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, Saucerful of Secrets, or their film soundtracks to be "unfocused," but not after they found their sound on Meddle (and all of those early albums are excellent psychadelic/space rock). Post-Wish You Were Here releases suffered from either too much (Final Cut) or no (AMLOR, Division Bell) Waters, and are simply solid rather than awesome. But Animals, Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, and Wish You Were Here are all incredible, classic records.
