I've been using the beta of this for a few weeks, and it's been amazingly useful.
Are there any functional differences from 0.9?

No, only some small changes to avoid that low "pop" on startup.. and fixing some memory-related stuff.. and implemented the GUI of course

Still working on the X50, should still take some weeks before a public beta is ready, but I think it'll be worth the wait (it's still an ampsim though, don't expect anything else)

OT, but do not underestimate soloc. I've gotten really 5150-like tones out of it. The guitar sound in my Squander mix is really close to the original, IMO.

Thats a rough mix using X50, the bass is mixed way too high, but i made that mix in like 10 minutes
I think you dudes will be fucking impressed with X50, i can't wait to hear what some of yous lot can do with it

played around with this last night...got pretty good tones running the BOD with a bass cab impulse after it
