I highly disagree. I'm surprised you don't like them actually as they fall right in the "dark metal" category. They're really good at what they do. I'm sure you just have a bad taste in your mouth due to the plethora of bands at that Candlemass show.

Daylight Dies is goddamned incredible. And they're great live too. I don't see how any Novembers Doom fan could not be into them.

Just listened to the album yesterday and this morning, and the album is really damn good. It seems it's getting good marks from people too.

I knew of Daylight Dies long before that Candlemass tour.

I actually saw them a few years before that when they toured with Moonspell and Katatonia.

Sucked both times. In all fairness, I never gave them a chance on disc.

If a band doesn't do it for me live, I find little value in checking them out recorded.

Just curious. What made them suck live for you? I thought they were pretty good at the CM show.

Nice on the two Jag Panzer albums a swell. Mechanized Warfare and Casting The Stones are great, IMO.
