Very nice! "Elements of Persuasion" (also with Matt Guillory) was excellent, so I hold very high expectations for this one also. The growls really complement James's voice nicely.... If Portnoy could sound like THIS, there'd be LOADS of potential new material.....

Fuck yes! Sound great!! As far as James headlining, I would only want him to play form his solo catalog. It would be a special show so why waste time playing songs we can see with DT?? He should get the same lineup as he had back in 04 when he did the Evergrey warmup shows out east...

The James LaBrie/Matt Guillory teamup has produced some really good stuff. This new song is a brilliant. I don't feel the harsh vocals bring that much to it. A good rough edged vocal from Labrie would have been just as effective. Anyway, these guys work together well.

As much of a fan as I am of Peter's drumming, I'm just not big on these harsh vocals. I'm not even one of those that dislike that type of vocals, but I don't think it really works here. Love the music and Labrie's voice but I feel the harsh vocals brings it down.

The harsh vocals seem a bit trend-happy, but hey, they're not bad. The song is really good and James sounds terrific. I think he'd make a great addition to the PPUSA XII lineup, maybe even as a headliner.
