New James LaBrie tune

I'm with those who could do without the growls, but everything else about this song kicks ass!

I've always thought that James would make an excellent addition to the ProgPower roster. In fact, I had a recent discussion with Orbweaver about this exact topic. Obviously, booking a band like Dream Theater for this festival would be way too costly, not to mention pointless. That said, there's no reason why Glenn couldn't get one of their numerous side projects. The same could be said of Iron Maiden. Who amongst this audience wouldn't kill to see Bruce Dickinson headline this show with his solo band? I think these possibilities are very feasible.

Stay metal. Never rust.

This song is awesome! I can't wait. The harsh vocals really add another layer to the music which I'm really enjoying. I really do hope he's headlining at a future PPUSA date.

Looking forward to this CD...I don't find the harsh vocals objectionable but I also don't think they really add anything. The guitars at the very beginning of the song almost remind me of Awake-era DT.

To me, it sounds like a lot of the stuff I've listened to. Very formulaic melo-death. Not a hint of originality in that. And James's clean vocals on this are more whiney as hell. Too bad. James can really sing when he tries. But this isn't singing. This is nasal explosion.

That might have been true a decade ago, but not anymore. Whatever training/conditioning he's doing has really helped. I think he sounds great live.

He couldn;t hit the high notes when I saw Progressive Nation 2 years ago....and kept going off stage to drink his herbal drinks to help his voice.
