New opeth cd

Andy could still keep the place open and reform the band. Get some in-house engineer and an assistant or two to look after the place, and come back whenever he's got spare time to track some bands, or perhaps even Sabbat :)
 
Make sure it's the UK Sabbat, Deathstrike, not the Japanese black/thrash band (who are also good, if you dig that kinda stuff.) History of A Time To Come and Dreamweaver are the albums to look for.

Sabbat will probably never reform cause the word is that Martin Walkyier is a drama queen. :( It'd be REALLY FUCKING AWESOME though.

^ They have 3 out now.

They're all pretty good but the newest "Wanderlust" was kind of a letdown. 2nd cd Happenstance shreds.
 
to that one guy who said Nevermore have never progressed...? And Opeth has? Ghost reveries could be put pretty much between any two of the last 3-4 Opeth albums released and it would still sound just like any of the other albums.

Again, this whole thing is subjective.

I like both bands equally, and I don't care to tear either apart.
I just appreciate what they create. I know I'm not capable of producing anything like that, so why should I be judgemental.

*shrugs*

Anyway, I haven't heard anything from the new Opeth CD, but i'm sure its killer (as always). :headbang:

Is this supposed to crack me up? Cause it does. This is even more dumb then the posts of that other guy. I can't name just one Opeth song that I don't like, and everything on "Morning Rise", "My Arms, Your Hearse" and "Deliverance" is just brilliant. Not to mention the other albums. Nevermore is just a complete other world, so this topic is just lame and for no reason buth to say to each other:"no, my band is better." Fuck off, really.

Both God-like bands. Period. :headbang: :worship:
