I am not opposed to the idea in theory, but at the price most decent hookers/'escorts' seem to go I don't find it anywhere near worthwhile. I don't think I've ever wanted sex badly enough to spend like $400+ for one fuck. The fact that it's shallow, meaningless and undignified doesn't help either.

I'm very tempted to go to the Moonlight Bunny Ranch and fuck a pornstar or two for money but I'm afraid I'll get stuck in the trap of always paying to be with women. I'm trying to pursue women and want relationships of varying kinds with them. I'm very conflicted on this. I and people around me seem confused as to why I'm not succesful. I play guitar and lift weights, two hobbies that are supposed to be attractive. I'll just keep pursuing them, at the moment I need more options though. All my recent ones are either in relationships, ignored me, or both.
at the Dumb and Dumber haircut comment. I'm considering growing my hair a little longer when I come back from Spain in late July. I'm going to be in Spain for a month taking classes at a university.

You can't just have hobbies that you think chicks dig. You should also probably have a good personality and a good sense of humor (humor goes a long way, seriously). If you're a douche but you drive a badass car or something, you're still a douche. Of course, there are dumb chicks who are into dumb crap, but you should be on the lookout for quality broads.

Along this line of thought, generally women don't give two shits that you exercise, they just want someone fit and confident, which working out provides. The whole confidence thing doesn't really mesh with desperate, which is how you sound on the board.

I do have a good personality and a lot of the entertainment I view is related to humor. Yes I'm going for attractive woman, very attractive ones at that. Which I'm at a disadvantage because I'm competing against men with more social value, game, and experience. I'm a nice guy which may be a problem. I don't like to tell women to do anything nor would I set rules for them in relationships. It's uaually "Can I have your number" or "Do you want to do something with me". I think some of this may be my problem. It's been easy to make friends but impossible to make girlfriends or to have relationships with women for me.
I didn't realize I was doing that. What should I do instead?
Yes, I admit I'm a needy and desperate person, but I try to hide that part of my personality.
Lately I've also been somewhat affectionate in my language with women like for example saying "I want to get to know you better, look forward to seeing you next week, say I'd like to see you before school's out, I like talking to you and want to keep doing this" etc... I think I sent a needy message over her not replying to a text message to a female friend but she replied back, just not to my affectionate comments last week.
