I know it's terrible. I'm trying to quit, so I guess higher prices are a form of motivation. Or a way of getting me broke.

No, that's dumb, the only way to quit smoking is cold turkey. Patches and gum etc just prolong the addiction and make you all resentful because you are only getting half of the satisfaction of smoking.

I think the longest I've gone without a cigarette or any of those nicotine patches etc is about 5 months. Then one day I got annoyed at work and was about to punch a customer in the face when my supervisor gave me a cigarette and told me to calm the fuck down.
