NExt suggestion request :D! bands with female vocals!

Can anyone suggest any bands with Female singers?

My collection is getting great but it lacks a women's touch!

Amaran, Nightwish, Tristania, Arch Enemy - Wages on Sin onwards. Not that you'd realise at first its a woman.

Recommend the first two the most.

I don't listen to many bands with female voxesses, but I like early Theatre of Tragedy, thier female singer has a truly wondrous voice.....and I liked whoever sung in the Paradise Lost material....whoever that was....

i'd recomend u the cd siebenbürgen - delictum, she does alot of backing- vocals and some refrains, great album

using both male growls and clean female vocals, such as

I'd recommend buying the album "Mandylion" by The Gathering. It's my favourite album by a female fronted band and I've heard most that there is.

I'd add Opera IX when they had the female singer. Although, she growls but you can still tell it's a chick. It depends whether you want growling female vocals or proper singing, or a mixture or male/female.

Indeed! Also check out her solo band Cadaveria. It has more of a "heavy metal" feel to it, IMO, but it's a great band.

I'd suggest you HAGGARD, male growls and female clean vocals + a little orchestra that's a part of the band's lineup (and so this isn't a guest as happen the most of the time)

Just listen to the song "Awakening the centuries" and you'll love them!
