This thread is more than 10 years old. Anyway - Jex Thoth, as mentioned already. From the heavy-metal spectre: Christian Mistress. Old thrash? Détente. I don't know about women growling though, it's opposite to attractive really. Although sometimes you can't really tell just by the sound of it.
