Sick song. Opening riff reminds me Mercyful Fate's Uninvited Guest. And there's some Black Metal feel also. Alex solo at the end is great too.

I don't know much Merciful Fate and I don't know any Black Metal aside from Dragonlord. Sounds like Testament to me I noticed a little part that sounds like something from the last album and that "THE RIFF" showed up again towards the end. I'll let it slide cause it's kind of a concept album and things should be brought back to tie things together...but between the last album this album and The Gathering he's starting to use it a lot lol
