NFL 2009

I obviously only said that in response to you. I said a week ago that this would probably be their toughest game, and I'm not at all surprised that they lost.

I must have forgotten that everything you say is not to be taken seriously. I, on the other hand, was being serious. Serious enough to bet money on it and come ahead $354 in cash.

WOOOOOOOOOO!

That's odd considering you said "you're probably right" in response to what I said. Serious but not confident. Must have been low risk, high reward.

lol well of course I wasn't like IT'S GUARUNTEED MANG!!!!!!!!

This is the NFL, shit happens y'know? I did have a really good feeling about the game which is why I bet on it. It's all good I was just seeing if you'd admit it, and you didn't disappoint. =P

Da Bears!
Kellen Davis looked great out there!
Bears are stacked at the TE position
Bears D looked good considering they were playing such a quality team.

So happy the Pats got beat.
And a big fuck you to the Packers

I just got home from the jets-pats game and i'm drunk as fuck atm. The game fucking ruled supreme. i've never been to a jets game where the crowd stayed around for the 4th quarter and they were vocal as fuck during this game. i have no voice for this upcoming week. i led my section with defense chants and Brady Sucks! chants during the game and now i can barely talk. the jets were 0-7 at games i've been to vs the pats and it felt fucking great to finally beat those fuckers. brady is a faggot and the pats fans are all worthless assholes. fuck them :kickass:

JETS WON THE SB, JETS WON THE SB!
Spoken like a true drunken NY'er! Enjoy it as you should...the chants you led sure made the diff (now 1-7)!

Seriously, did many Pats fans make the trip...I'm sure they were pie-eyed as well? Did you or any Jets fans think of pack'n it in and leaving at halftime or did the close score keep ya's hang'n on?

This was a bad week for football for me.
The Steelers lost.
WVU lost.
The high school I went to was pummeled 56-0.
FUCK.

But hey, USC and the Pats lost... so maybe there's a little justice in the world.

Damn the Saints manhandled the Eagles. So much for that great defense. Aside from a few big plays we gave up our defense looked good, not great like the Steelers and Ravens but good! They're out there making plays. Sure the Eagles put up close to 500 yards, but when you do that and commit four turnovers that yardage doesn't mean SHIT. Sharper's pick six was nice - a good morale boost for a defense that needs every break it can get after being dog shit the past few years.

I know it was against a McNabbless Eagles, but McNabb doesn't play defense. >_>;;

Along with the Falcons, this Saints team might be the best in the NFC.

I think you might be forgetting about the Giants.

We'll see. :) They're a top team - top 3 NFC definitely. We'll see about who the top is really though come week 6.

Damn dude, Saints have scored 93 points in 2 games. That is just nuts. Brees tossing 9 TDs, RBs getting 2 TDs, and the defense getting 1.

You really think the Saints and Falcons are at the top of the heap of the NFC? I don't know about that. Never really thought about it either though. I still think the NFC power resides predominately in the East. Speaking of which, nice nail-biting victory for the Giants, though they need to work on their red zone offense and the defense didn't play up to par. Romo gifted them a couple times, and Witten once off the foot. Mario Manningham is really stepping up to be a great wide receiver though; both he and Steve Smith had 10 reception, 100+ yard games, and a touchdown each. Manningham had exactly 150 yards.

The Saints are an offensive juggernaut that if they keep up their current pace will shatter the '07 Patriots record for most points scored in a season.

Their defense is stepping up and making big plays when they need it to - something it never did last season.

The NFC East has the Eagles which when under McNabb are a great threat, but their defensive performance week one seems to have been a total fluke, the Cowboys who will never win anything worth mentioning so long as Romo is their QB, the Redskins who have no offense, and the Giants who have a good ground game and Eli is getting some good receivers it seems.

The east is still the best division overall probably seeing as how the South has the miserable Bucs and Panthers. However the Saints and Falcons are top of the conference teams imo.

Obviously this is only week 2 and there is no way the Saints are going to continue to score 40+ a game every week (I guess they COULD, but I just don't see them needing to air it out as often.)

So this is all premature anyways.

I think the Vikings are better than the Saints too. Overall as a team, their defense is infinitely better than the Saints' and once Favre gets into rhythm the offense is going to be deadly.

I'd currently rank the NFC as follows:

1. Giants
2. Vikings
3. Falcons
4. Saints
5. 49ers
6-7. Packers/Bears
8. Eagles
9. Cardinals
10. Cowboys
11. Redskins
12. Panthers
13. Seahawks
14. Lions
15. Bucs
16. Rams

clearly green bay are the #1 team in the NFL. this list is bogus and biased.
