NFL 2009

They were an 8-8 team the year before and half of his offensive staff left with Whisenhunt to Arizona. And their offensive line was (and still is) in shambles. The other side of the ball is another story of course. But to discredit Tomlin's input on the team is unfair, as he has done a lot to get this team to rebound from their first post-Super Bowl hangup. Coaching the Steelers can either be the easiest job in the world or the hardest job in the world depending on the type of person you are.

He was the perfect person for the job, no doubt. I'm not taking anything away from his coaching abilities, but it wasn't like the team was in a rebuilding process.

in before tom terrific excuses

No excuses! I put this one square on the shoulders of TB and the Pats offense. Credit to the Jets defense, more-so in the second half. The first half while the Jets offense was pathetic...the Pats had great field position and many chances to put this one away early simply missed open plays...lack of execution. The Jets offense gained life at halftime and into the second half. The only bit of positive I can take is the Pats defense (my main concern) looked really good at times but seems it'll be a work in progress?

 The Pats suck dick this year and it's so great to watch. I love how all of those faggots who anointed them as the Super Bowl champs before Brady even hit the field are eating shit right now. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FUCKERS!

woo!

Also, the Bears are tradiing punches with the Steelers, should be a good second half.

I'm hoping this is one of those early losses that will benefit this gb team. They have the talent on both sides. The question is whether or not the lines can improve

Concise and approp comments from KD once again.

Relax its only week-2, I'd worry about your Colts...didn't look too impressive in week one...though they will probably will kill Miami?:erk:

BTW- who the hell has anoited the Pats the SB champs? They lost a tough divison game on the road...not a shocker. If thier D can take some positives and build on today...watch out! Thier offense is stacked and will be just fine.

Aside from Reed, the Steelers just got outplayed in the 4th for the most part. A handful of dropped balls for both teams. It seemed like the conditions played a factor. Unfortunate, but they'll move on, and there are some positives to take away, like the running game showing some life and the o-line doing their jobs pretty solidly for most of the game. Oh well, I'm over it, the Patriots losing today making this loss easier to deal with.

You should have quoted it for truth.

What should I be worrying about?

Everyone in the media. You should probably read more often. Granted it's part of my job as a writer for the Colts, but if you actually paid attention to most of the talking heads out there you'd know most of them have already awarded Brady the MVP and the Pats the SB win.

Good for Da-Bears. Now the Steelers will have to go 15-1 and win the SB to have any chance to lay claim as the team of the decade over the Pats...won't happen. Funny thing is...I grew up being a huge Steelers fan with my no.12 Bradshaw shirt and the steel-curtain et al, that was badass! The fact that I was a Bruins hockey fan as I took my breathe coming into this world ...the black and yellow colors (that are badass) were in my blood- hence an instant Steelers for a while.

Props to the Ravens as well. So glad that psycho du-bag Rivers lost...nice play calling at the end of that game...worst than my Pats play calling.:erk:
