NFL 2009

Yeah, nothing like watching non-existant defenses get run over all evening. The reason NFL> College Football is the same reason College BBall > NBA. I don't care to see scorefests every week. Defense is fun also.
But bad NCAA b-ball tends to be low-scoring because bad teams can't shoot. Your comparison isn't apt at all. Bad shooting /= defense.

Well sure, if you watch Podunk State vs Podunk University KD. I'm from North Carolina so it's UNC all the way. UNC-Duke games are almost always classics.

UNC-Duke games are great. It like the Red Sox-Yankees of College Basketball.I love it when March Madness comes because that my favorite time of the season to watch the College games.

Not really. Even the upper-echelon schools have their clankfests. I never said I don't want the games, they are highly entertaining however quite torturous in terms of quality of play. The thing that attracts me most to the game and to college sports in general is the pureness that the games still hold.

I like tough defensive battles at times as well. The college game I mentioned was just one example. Even with not much defense it was far more entertaining and worth watching more than some of these NFL games. The Florida's, Bama, LSU, TENN, AUB etc. will feature some tough defenses as well.

Don't get me wrong...I prefer the higher skill level and competition level of the NFL over NCAA and understand the College football has a million teams to increase the odds of a better overall game. Just certain teams and rivalries in College will give you an almost guaranteed great game. We can go 3-4 weeks sometimes in the NFL featuring shit-ass boring games...only then we may get lucky and see a great game or matchup.

The thing that gets me even more in the NFL is when a featured talented team like the Giants fail to show up and give us something worth watching, as they did against the Broncos. An unfortunate occasion to often in the NFL.

i dont think you watch college basketball, I watch a crappy local team in the MAAC and they still are good to watch and not a 'clankfest'

It seems that Pittsburgh couldn't pay the refs off enough tonight. I mean pass interference called AGAINST the Steelers? I think the world may be changing.

Good game though, glad the Steelers lost.

I love how people consistently claim that the referees are biased toward the Steelers. It's in direct contrast to the fact that James Harrison is held on nearly every play, including the play on the first drive that got things started.

I really don't care that they lost this game. They weren't supposed to win. The fact that it went to overtime is in itself mindboggling. Playing your third string running back with your best run-blocking lineman out on offense and your best player and your best d-lineman out on defense is not a favorable scenario.

We've already been through that you fucking faggot my pals. Look up my old posts. You and every other fucking idiot who thinks that don't know how to watch football.
