Whether or not the Steelers won their last SB due to ref favoritism is much less of an issue than all the SBs/playoff games the Patriots won with ref help.

My statement is only based on my own preference. In the absence of any other factors, I am biased towards AFC teams.
So... I am surprised that the stupid media is so bold as to pit Hines Ward against Ben Roethlisberger (freakin had to edit twice to get this name right) like they are. I saw the interview and wondered if Ward though Ben should be playing, but I didn't think he made a definitive statement about his own view. The media seems to say he did. The media are idiots.

Yeah the mainstream media is fucking relentlessly stupid and always looking for some dickish angle to write about and make money off of. All Hines Ward did was speak the truth, nothing more. I guarantee you he has more respect for Big Ben than any other player in the league and anyone who believes otherwise is a dumbass. Big Ben is a tough sob unless motorcycles are involved and I respect him a lot for all of the punishment he takes throughout the season.
