NFL 2009

Yea, but you can't really look at the Pats losing to the Colts and Saints as a definite answer to who the Colts or Saints are, as it is a game of match-ups.

Believe it or not I do think that IF ( < and that's a big IF ) the Giants make the playoffs they have a good chance at beating the Saints. If they are playing like I know they are capable of playing - being a D-end up DT zone pass rush on D ( none of this d-line man drop back junk ) and a core running game on O.

Talk about a pipe dream within a pipe dream.

Sure...maybe the team out there is the Giants that can recapture and bring that Giant defense that I brought up.
Yea, matchups and each game being its own entity does not give a definitive answer...but I think it can give a good indication...who knows? Pats / Colts have been a pretty good measuring stick for to sometime now...they usually look and bring out the best and such.

The 2009 Giants flop does not even remotely resemble the 2007 Giants inconsistency during the regular season, and it took a miracle to beat the Patriots.

Be happy with the once in a lifetime season you got to see. The Cardinals fans learned the hard way.

Actually you heard it first from me around September, you just all thought I was fucking crazy at the time.

You make a good point, but after that year as a fan it bound me to always believe in my team and afforded great compromise.

I do see The Ravens as the dark horse this year more than anyone else.

On that note...my Pats were holding back and not showing thier true hand in both thier games against the Colts and Saints...riiiiiiight? Saving the surprise and true domination in the AFC championship game against the Colts...and then in the SB against the Saints. It could happen!?!:err:

Yes, absolutely. Anything can happen.

Which is why I feel the Ravens will win the Super Bowl this year. I just love how they are built and what they have been through this year.

Dude, wake the fuck up, the Ravens and Giants suck this year. The Ravens' defense is a shell of its former self, and Eli Manning appears to be doomed for IR with that heel injury.

For someone who talks a lot of shit about other people not knowing what they are talking about, you sure aren't convincing many people YOU know what you are talking about.

Whether or not anyone wants to give the Colts any credit is no sweat off my balls. Like Parcells said years ago, you are what your record says you are, and the Colts are undefeated.

If both the Saints and Colts are undefeated and face each other in the super bowl it would be the best super bowl yet. There will be lots of hype if that game comes. My prediction will be the most watch super bowl ever and the game will be a close one.

I was kinda joking about my Pats "saving it for the playoffs". Sure anything can happen, but realistically, they don't have a great defense- more so a pass rush to get after the quarterback.

Yes, though the Colts have been very lucky at times...they still deserve much credit. Even the biggest Colt haters (like me) should know and recognize this. Not too many teams, if any, can grind it out then pulloff the NFL record amount of 4th qtr comebacks like the Colts do.

(srry for the dp)

What can I tell ya, I'm an underdog kinda guy.

Ravens are better than you think.
