quit acting like a little hurt fan boy, the colts had near losses against some easy teams too. The redskins though are not the browns/raiders and to say they suck is quite hilarious. They've had some good seasons in the past couple years or so.
That's my fucking point you asshole! THEY WERE NEAR LOSSES, NOT LOSSES!!!!JKOrojadgpaosgj
Jesus christ monkey balls you are not good at analyzing NFL teams.
To be honest, I don't know why he got so upset about saying the Colts got lucky in a few games. I think just about anyone is willing to admit that unless you're dominating teams by large margins every game, you're going to need a bit of luck to get by sometimes.
Saints, for example, got lucky as hell that the Skins kicker missed a chipshot field goal.
I'm not upset, but like Dodens often says in this thread, there are some absolute idiots who talk shit in this thread.
My point is dude, yeah the Saints were fortunate, NOT lucky, that the Suisham missed the field goal, but that's NOT WHY THEY WON THE GAME. They won the game because of resiliency, talent, and coaching. I'll explain:
Down 7 in the 4th quarter, Suisham shanks a gimme FG. Of all the things I'm about to list, one could argue that this was "lucky" but I would disagree. Kickers miss field goals all the time. I'd be more apt to say that the Saints were fortunate that they were playing the Redskins, kicker and all.
After the missed field goal, the Saints still had to drive the length of the field and score a TD, not a FG, only to TIE the game and send it to overtime. That's not luck. The Saints have shown all season long that they can score at will, so it was no surprise to see Brees shred the Redskins' secondary to tie the game.
The lost the coin toss in overtime, how anyone would consider this lucky is beyond me.
The Saints defense came up big and stopped the Redskins offense in their first drive. Not even remotely fucking lucky. The Redskins' offense has been inept all season long and just like it was not surprising to see Brees torch the Redskins' defense to tie it, it was not surprising to see the Redskins offense crumble in crunch time.
The Saints capitalized on the Redskins' horrible offense, drove the field and kicked the game winning field goal.
Nothing I just listed has anything to do with luck. The old football adage is that bad teams lose games, and good teams win games. This is a prime example of that saying. Having said that, this is the same shit that the Colts have been doing all season which no one here seems to fucking understand. You people need to dig deeper into these games instead of looking at the game highlights and labelling the Colts lucky, and the Saints as well for that matter. Luck does not determine 99.9% of these NFL games.
Does everyone get it now?
