NFL 2009

Ok, the Packers are playing rather poorly, but I think the bigger story is the absolutely atrocious calls being made by the refs. I took notes on all poor calls/no-calls and I have concluded that the Packers might not be able to overcome the hometown referees.

Here is the list in order:

- Pass interference call on Woodson which leads to a TD.
- Reversal of the fumble and recovery call by Matthews, booth review stated that his arm was moving forward. Bullshit. Both announcers were stunned by the call. I really don't understand how you can make that call.
- No personal foul call on Harrison for a late hit on Rodgers or the helmet to helmet on Rodgers. Harrison hit him late and held him there while the officials watched.
- Hines Ward, the dirtiest player in the league by player vote, hit A.J Hawk in the back, but no block in the back penalty was called. The announcers both commented on how "he got away with one".

The score should be 14-14 right now without the penalty that led to a score. The Packers also have dropped a ton of balls.

Eagles-9ers is closer than I'd like at this point. That long 4th and 5 pass by Smith tightened things up. After the 'boys shut down the Saints (and with the 'boys and Broncos as their last two games), Philly needs this win. Nice to see McNabb running again, though.

YEAH BABY!!!!

I agree, they didn't get any pressure and they kept going back to that weird formation where they had only 1 down lineman. It never worked.

I need to reevaluate my fantasy football strategy it seems. It could just be bad luck considering I did score 169 points but my team didn't dominate this season like it had in the past.

169 should win most games in our league, but obviously not when your opponent gets 199. Tell you the truth I have been emulating your methods this season, and I feel I have improved quite a bit. I haven't dominated, because it seems I had bad luck with the timing of who I was playing, but I have got tons of points.
