I all but stopped watching basketball after the Tim Donaghy stuff came out years ago. I always had this bad feeling that there was some foul play going on. But then I read Donaghy's book and I wanted to go on a killing spree. I haven't watched a single game of basketball since then, and probably won't ever again. Basketball is forever tainted.
Baseball is nearly there.

Come on. You saw the calls made in that game. You must've seen how ridiculous they were.
Mathiäs;8774607 said:Ok, the Packers are playing rather poorly, but I think the bigger story is the absolutely atrocious calls being made by the refs. I took notes on all poor calls/no-calls and I have concluded that the Packers might not be able to overcome the hometown referees.
Here is the list in order:
(1) - Pass interference call on Woodson which leads to a TD.
(2) - Reversal of the fumble and recovery call by Matthews, booth review stated that his arm was moving forward. Bullshit. Both announcers were stunned by the call. I really don't understand how you can make that call.
(3) - No personal foul call on Harrison for a late hit on Rodgers or the helmet to helmet on Rodgers. Harrison hit him late and held him there while the officials watched.
(4) - Hines Ward, the dirtiest player in the league by player vote, hit A.J Hawk in the back, but no block in the back penalty was called. The announcers both commented on how "he got away with one".
The score should be 14-14 right now without the penalty that led to a score. The Packers also have dropped a ton of balls.
Tom Brady you sent me a PM, but I tried to reply and it says you do not accept PMs.
I have seen lots of Yankees fans and some Cowboys fans here.
Speaking of this, today at school I saw shirts of the Yanks,Cowboys and the LakersI also saw both Houston Astros and a Dallas Mavericks shirt too which was very surprising .

Sooooooo...today, at your school it was "I'm a ball-suckin, ass-lickin, loser fanboy shirt-day"!?!
It sure looks like it.No wonder thoses 3 teams are the most bandwagon fans. Our Boston sports teams have lots of them but not as bad as teams like the Yankees,Lakers, and Cowboys.
I was blowin a hint of sarcasm. Wether we like it or not... those rival teams obviously have great-great success / tradition.
Thankfully, our Boston teams have enough success / tradition as well. I'm especially proud of RedSox Nation! Even the biggest Boston haters would have to enjoy the experience and excitement of attending a RedSox game at Fenway...its a playoff vibe there from April to October. Sure there are the share of yahoos and such and I can't stand any RedSox fan that shamefully wears a "Yankees suck" t-shirt...thankfully this stuff has somewhat subsided. RedSox Nation is now strong worldwide and the loyal fans travel and support like no other fans.
Sure.

Whoah...I forgot this is the NFL thread. So, @ TB...the Patriots are considered cheaters and yet you've been spoiled by thier latest success. For a long time the Pats were the laughin-stock of the NFL and have had many miserable / horrible moments..as have all our other teams. This from me, as being the elder B-town fan and one who is maybe educating you?
Man I love Twitter. I just had a conversation with Raheem Brock and Jerraud Powers.
