NFL 2009

Even if the Colts score early...they will still have to stop the run. Being early, the Ravens will still try to establish the run. Regardless, when the pressure is on, that key moment late in the game...thats when Freeney and Mathis apply pressure. It usually leads to that key-late turnover that Indy has caused and survived on all year long.

The key to this game is the war that will be won in the trenches. If the Ravens can control the line of scrimage (a good possibility), they will win. Just like they did against the Pats. They dominated the lines! Then everything else falls into place.

I think the Ravens are gonna win, because I haven't seen anything this year to make me believe the Colts are any good at all. If they get a few early scores and a turnover though, it's over. Baltimore will not come back.

"any good at all"???
That sounds kinda redundant? The Colts are good...they are the masters of surviving late and pulling out wins.

Like I said, the Colts will not do this if the Ravens control the line(s) of scrimmage like they are capable of doing. The Colts can be pushed around and exploited.

I hope the Ravens pull out a win...but IMO it will be the Colts survival and big playmaking over the Ravens attempt to control the line / time of poss.

Yeah, its probably gonna get worse before it gets any better for the Pats. Of course I would have liked the Pats to beat the Ravens but they weren't gonna win anything this year...it may have just prolonged the obvious. They need some overhaulin! The major ass-whipping by the Ravens may be a good thing in the long run? Being a major reality check / wake-up call for the organization.

The D for the Pats sucks now and there O isn't having a bright future.I had the same opinion that they weren't gonna to win it all, but that was a bad game right there which makes me think they won't make it to the playoffs next year.

Wow, didn't expect the Cardinals defense to forget how to tackle, not to mention move in slow motion.

I think it has more to do with who the Cards are actually playing. I was surprised to see that so many thought the Cards were now all of a sudden on par and were going to win against the Saints?? As I said, no chance! Saints are Clearly superior.

I think a lot of people didn't give the Saints a chance because of their performance in the last three games of the season plus a few of the closer games where they barely held on.

BUT What they didn't realize was the Saints defense was fucking destroyed with injuries you're not going anywhere soon with your starting CBs out, your LBs injured, a stud DT out for a few games, etc.

AND THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!

Saints dominating! :D

This was the real Saints today.

People really shouldn't judge these teams with things locked up and not much to play for towards the end of the season. However, I've always said that most teams need to be playing thier best football in late december...saved for the teams that have the luxury of playing out the season and getting ready for the playoffs in the manner they choose. I just don't like when teams obliviously tank games like the Colts did against the Jets...but whatever.
