NFL 2014

Look at Taylor getting pushed around. I had some dumbass DC fan tell me the other day he was tired of DC "wasting picks on the Oline".

Damn what a game between Washington and Philly. Eagles lost Kelce (inury) and Peters (ejection) and were down to their last o-lineman. Foles was getting hammered. Somehow they came through. Foles was excellent today, despite taking huge hits, being behind a 2nd string o-line and having no help from the running game. Dude is legit. Maclin and Matthews both had huge games.

Cousins looked excellent for 3 1/2 quarters, but lost his accuracy at the end of the game. Eagles finally got some pressure on him and the DBs finally started breaking up some passes.

And a Super Bowl rematch to follow that game up? Great Sunday...

Philly's weak link is the oline, Dallas' weak link is currently still the dline and Romo's back. Going to be interesting to see how the head to head match goes.

The Eagles have one of the best o-lines in the league when healthy. We don't know the severity of Kelce's injury, but if it's not serious, they will be strong again by week 5, when they'll get Lane Johnson back. And actually, I would say the backups have done well, all things considered.

The weak link is easily the defense. A sparse pass rush and an inconsistent secondary. They've struggled against the run the last two games, which was supposed to be their strength.

Like I said a few days ago: Cardinals higher and Packers lower. Despite the win, I still think Dallas hasn't shown enough to move from the 13-15 range. Good teams don't start games by beating themselves (but they do find ways to overcome). So-jury still out.

Both Dallas and Philly displayed some mental and physical toughness today.

Yup. Haven't seen much of Dallas since the 1st half of the 49ers game, but I gotta admit they're probably better than I expected. Still think the Eagles are the class of the division.

Oh please stop washing each others balls. The Cowboys made Austin Davis look like Brett Favre and the Eagles defense fuckin' stinks.

That's true about Austin Davis, but I picked the Cowboys to go 5-11 or 6-10. All I'm saying is they're probably better than that. As for the Eagles, their defense might suck, but their offense is a juggernaut, even with most of the o-line missing and McCoy stuck in neutral. This offense can be scary good.
