NFL 2014

I was so pissed at that Carolina/Cincy game. I just wanted it over, instead it cut into the whole first quarter of the Dallas-Seahawks game - which I am going to use to segue into gloating all over the internet - and especially at all the Garrett and Romo hating ignorant ass Cowboys fans. As far as the other haters - Stephen A Smith: Better go buy a Romo Jersey. Babineuax or whoever was on the pregame saying Murray wouldn't break the century mark: Go check the box score. Hey Sherman, how about Dez hanging in the air over your trash talking ass for what seemed like forever, and making the play? How about Romo adding to his current (since '11*)league leading amount of game-winning drives? How about Dan Bailey becoming the most accurate kicker in NFL history? How about the twice retired linebacker just coasting backwards and making an easy pick with the Superbowl winning QB staring down his TE? How about Seattle essentially needing to be spotted 14 points by Dallas Special Teams to even make a game out of it?

Total Domination in the trenches. Dallas out-Seattled Seattle in Seattle. This is exactly what I've been wanting all these years.

Fucking dot.

I really don't care much about non-Cowboys fans hating. That's what they are supposed to do. I'm sick of all the -essentially- little Jerrahfans running around that can't process anything beyond a W/L/SB Win and flashy plays in the moment. "Super Bowl Win Good, Everything Else Bad - Fire-um Coach! Trade-um QB-um!"

I've said it before, I think Dallas is in a really good place right now, as Garrett and Stephen Jones now essentially have a majority over Jerrah, and have restricted him to utilizing his talents constructively instead of destructively. Jerry is the reason McClain is revitalizing this Dallas D. But it is Garrett and Stephen J who are bringing in the non-AlDavisish picks. The Phillips Era killed this team. Garrett and Stephen have flipped this roster and maintained competitiveness in the division, while adding possibly the best OC/DC(4-3) combo in the league. Garrett and Stephen are building a champion built to last, with Jerry more than willing to write the checks to keep things in place.

Edit: In case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about re: Stephen A. Smith:

Not only was Murray and Randle and Dunbar able to get yards on Seattle, the ball was still in Romo's hands on 3rd and 20, aaaand again: see the above gif.

Can't wait for Tuesday.

This was the first Cowboys game I watched this season and I was actually really impressed. I kinda hate seeing the same team(s) go deep every year and it looks like these guys are for real.

Giants @ Eagles should be good. Let's get in and out of that shitty city with a win and watch those degenerate fans sulk as usual.

How does it feel to be SHUT OUT? Now go back to that filthy shithole of a city that nobody outside of midwest teenagers give a fuck about anymore.

I'm really excited about the progress the Eagles's pass rush is making. They have been shining in stretches the past few weeks and then today they were just on a tear from start to finish. There's a lot of young guys (Cox, Graham, Thorton, Curry) that are coming into their own.

The other good news was the backup o-line were actually making plays tonight. If they can hold their own, then Shady will get back in form.

Dallas is going to run over the Eagles on both sides of the ball.

Considering you openly admit to not watching anything other than the Cowboys, it shouldn't be surprising that you expect the Cowboys D-line to run over the Eagles O-line, but it's a really uninformed statement. Mathis and Kelce should be back, meaning that the Eagles will have arguably the best o-line in the NFL. Actually, barring injuries, it will be a match up of the best two o-lines in football.

NFC is really starting to look up for grabs, with Seattle looking rather vulnerable lately. Green Bay is probably the favorite at this moment. I think they can outscore anybody, and Jordy Nelson is apparently unguardable. Dude is always wide open on the sideline between the corner and safety in a zone and somehow nobody has figured out how to defend this.

I'd still bet on Seattle rebounding, and I need to see Dallas beat another decent team before I'm sold. They had a bunch of easy games early, (the Saints are not good), and they will probably ride that soft schedule into 10 wins. But 8-8 again wouldn't surprise me either.

Well, to begin with I would say that although they might be good, at this point I don't think there is any argument about the best Oline. Murray has more yards before contact than most of the backs in the league have period. I wasn't aware the injured Eagles players would be back in time for the first meeting but:
Dallas' rotation is also gaining back Lawrence, and Spencer and Melton are both still gaining strength from their prior injuries. If the top ranked Run D in the league couldn't stop Dallas from hitting their avg rush amount, I don't think the Eagles are going to be able to keep Dallas from milking the clock

All that said, everyone knows division battles are another animal. I think Dallas will probably split games with Philly.

Green Bay is probably the favorite at this moment.

Rodgers keeps Packers in the mix. In the NFC right now I'd say the top four teams are Dallas, Arizona, Philly, and Green Bay, in no particular order. Detroit's inconsistency keeps them out.

I was actually going for Seattle yesterday... That's how much I hate the Cowboys.
Thanks alot, Russel Wilson

I still don't understand your hate for Seattle. I really admired their style last season and am loving how Dallas is playing the same but better right now, at least on the offensive side of the ball.

Even though the 49ers beat both Dallas and Philly (their only losses)? 9er defense completely shut down the Eagles offense, they only scored on special teams and interceptions.

I bet they take down Arizona in our next meeting at home too. They routinely beat Green Bay the past 3 years.

The 49ers got off lucky against Dallas. Romo wasn't 100%, Bryant was in and out, Scandrick was out, etc etc. In other words, if the 49ers played Dallas tomorrow they would lose. The 49ers defense is not as good as previous years, and the offense certainly isn't. The 49ers do not appear better than either the Cardinals (who already beat them) or the Seahawks. I don't even see them in the playoffs at this point with an 8-8 or 9-7 record in a deep division.

Green Bay will be better once their center comes back, because right now the line is awful. However, they've got a ton of other problems. I can see them winning the division but its the same old story with them, trying to play a 3-4 scheme without any of the personnel to do so.

Since I can't even bare to watch Tampa this year, I am hopping on the Cowboys bandwagon for the rest of the season. My GF is a Cowboys fan so I have watched them pretty consistently the last 5-6 years. Plus I have always liked Romo since I was going to Eastern when he was the QB. Thank goodness McClain came out of retirement again. He has been all over the field for them.
