NFL 2014

The Patriots have their best chance today of breaking the habit of losing to Baltimore in the playoffs, and to prove themselves an actual title-worthy team as opposed to one that owes its record to being in a joke division. I have more hope than certainty that it may happen, though.

FUCK YES

Way to throw a long one on 2nd-and-5 into double coverage when you could have run down the clock with shorter-gain plays.

What a game.

Yeah. The Flac had 4 TDs but misread the coverage at the end, and Torrey totally gave up at the end when he could have played as a CB to prevent the INT. Fail

It's true, he gave up on it, he even ducked. Reminds me of Miles Austin..... ullghh.

I feel good about Sunday. Not saying Dallas is definitely going to definitely win, but I think it's a good matchup regardless, and Rodgers being hurt helps :p

So you're just going to defend everything Cowboy huh.

The ball clearly hit the ground, came loose and was bobbled. Stop being such a douche.

Yeah, the ball hit the ground - but the ground can't cause a fumble. Bryant had complete control of the football with 2 feet down + a step and stretched for the goalline. If the actual wording of the rules makes that somehow an incompletion then that is a stupid rule.

Edit: The 4th down play aside, Dallas had plenty of chances to sort of close it out earlier and didn't, and then gave up a TD on 3rd and a mile. GB oline did a good job of protecting Rodgers. It was a good game, and this loss doesn't hurt me, with the recent injuries stacking up and Seattle really turning it on I wasn't expecting a win in Seattle. Next year is looking bright though.

Clear possession dude. Was watching the game with a Green Bay fan friend and he agreed.

Parerra just explained it on the post game show. Bryant didn't perform a football act before the ball was dislodged by the ground. That's the rule and it's been the rule for a long time. It doesn't matter if you and your random Packers friend don't understand the rule.
