Jesus, what an awful performance. Hope the Wings can make a trade for a legitimate defense-man because I can't take seeing this inability to get the puck out of the defensive zone.

Does Cleary have nudes of Babcock or something? There is absolutely NO reason he should be on the first line...or the team even. It boggles my mind that he is seeing more goddamn ice time than Tatar who was mostly outstanding tonight. How does someone with 3 points over 5 games get less ice time than someone with ONE in 14 games? HOW? Cleary is a goddamn black hole sucking up any offensive chances we might get...Tatar has been dynamic.

Run with this line up and I assure you this teams offensive woes will vanish, until Helm is healthy though you've got to try Sheahan at 3rd line center and keep up Emmerton (who has proven himself worthy of his roster spot this season - crazy since he was mostly awful last year)
Our defense will still be garbage, but at least we'll be able to consistently score.
I change my mind about the previous wanting Lashoff paired with Kronwall - Lashoff is clearly not good enough a defender to let Kronwall be himself. Then again Kronwall is just not good enough for the top pairing himself...BUT if you give him someone who can actually play defense then he can focus on just scoring and MAYBE just MAYBE stop making these stupid mistakes he's been doing all season.
AND if for some fucking reason Nyquist is sent back to the Griffins just so that some old fart can take his place after coming back from injury I swear I will find Holland's car and key it.

I chose the worst season to come back as a serious hockey fan...
but I intend to stick to it...
Just sucks seeing a team I can tell has what it takes to make at least a puddle splash instead having some asshole ride down the road after a rain storm and soaking them with road water from a dip in the surface

Got to hang out in the VIP room today for the local sports radio Sportsfest and met Lidstrom and Holmstrom, got Wings hat autographed by them both. Was barely able to speak haha

Anyone hear the Habs announcer tonite (habs v flyers) about the 15" mark of the first period. Not knowing he was still on the micro during a mini break he cleared his throat and it sounded like he was hurling up a fur-ball. Thought that was funny a shit!

How about them Habs? Silencing critics currently and I love it. I knew all along that last year they were underachieving. Of course a new identity has helped. A coach who has improved so much since his first stint with the habs. And it so helps when you have a healthy Markov/Gionta, a resurgent Rene Bourque. And the two youngsters Galchenyuk and Gallagher have been phenomenal!
I like how comfortable the team is with a close game, last year it seemed they always crumbled. Not the case this year.

Well I think the critics were on them for maybe good reasons...for starters underachieving as you mentioned. Its mainly in the past.
Regardless, Habs are a much improved team this year that's tougher to play against for sure. I'm not sold completely on them but the conference is wide open this year...who knows

Went to the Blues game last night. They lacked good aggression but still pulled out the win.
That's why the Hawks keep winning. They are super aggressive. I I didn't hate them they would be a fun team to watch.
