i've tried to like immolation numerous times. just seems like standard brutal semi tech death. and i hate when bands throw in that last high pitched (squealing) note in a riff. i'm sure there's a name for it, but whatever.

probably why i could never appreciate gorguts.

Pinch harmonics are great....
First two Gorguts are classic death metal albums. Last two are trash.
I love when death metal is brutal and catchy at the same time. love it!

The newest Incantation (released last November) is also some really good shit
