A: No. Every civilization has its peak, and this one has reached it and is rapidly descending downhill. What follows will probably be another Dark Ages before another Great Civilization rises again. That is, if by then the earth hasn't been made impossible to inhabit with the help of nuclear weapons and/or general indifference towards the environment, cue all natural resources will be spent.

I disagree with part of your thoughtful response
I definitely see it as quickly pummeling downhill, but I think it'll do so permanently and never to rise up again, at least not any sort of peak it's reached in the past.
As you said, the earth itself is being unnaturally changed and damaged by mankind.
