guitarguru777, I have to agree that it might be a bit of an overreaction to what really is stupid shit. I skip over so many threads simply because of stupid titles. My only request to those making posts because they are "for fun", all I ask is put it where un-serious stuff like that belongs - in the off topic forum if it's just joking or "for fun" - this way it does not muck up the areas of this forums designed to garner information from. I can understand the frustration of looking for usable information being like finding a needle in a haystack when useful technique and equipment forums get filled with uninformative threads. So in short, have fun, just try and do it where it belongs.

Regarding real trolls though, if they were unsuccessful, they would troll somewhere else. The best option is to ignore them completely. They get satisfied when they piss someone off. D:
