I've seen Opeth shirts at a general music store by my house for over a year. They have shirt order ads in just about every metal mag. This is nothing new.

Face it guys... Opeth is about as big of an "underground" metal band going right now. You won't hear 'em on the radio (in the US at least), but they do have a relatively large fanbase, so of course they're gonna try to push some merch.
