FuneralPortrait said:Blackwater Park sounds nicer to me- just the sound of the instruments and those insanly nice SW harmonies. It IS horribly overcompressed, but I'd say thats a fault of mastering, not Steven Wilsons doing.

wlel I probably will when he hits 98 posts too...and probably 99. I just hope they're lik ethis one though
I love it when a band's frontman comes on a forum and basically tells everyone to stfu.
Mr Samsara said:"Opeth has run it's course"... I don't think that statement can be made unless it's made by the Ålmighty. Perhaps a thread titled, "Opeth doesn't do it for me anymore" or "I'm tired of listening to Opeth" would be more appropriate. This thread has traces of troll IMO...

Im not trying to run a campaign against your band man, I was just curios about peoples opinions on the album timelines of the past present and future. I liked Ghost Reveries better than Deliverance, I just think some of the stuff on GR is alittle basic for Opeth. Other than that man, I have seen your band live 6 times and I will not miss a show, especially with the crap metal scene here in America.
Alteredmindeath said:Im not getting anything from Opeth anymore, nothing new is coming from them, seems they are repeating themselves now and nothing shocking or exciting comes from them anymore, just one step down with each release.... your thoughts??
If they were to break up, I wouldn't be upset. I think they have already made their best stuff in my opinion.
