limited versions usually require you to 'register' and pay for the product. in return (a lot of times, i'm not sure about paintshop) they'll give you an access code that unlocks the rest of the program or disables the time limit on it. if you go to 'warez' sites, if you find a good one, you might be able to find a 'crack' for the program - basically just an authorization code that you can put into the program, and unlock it, without paying for it. in the meantime while you look you should still be able to use the program for like 30 days or so.
