my first two albums....i dont listen to them as much as i used to (esp. orchid)...but they are both amazingly heavy and raw...thats why i like them

Orchid and Morningrise are not amazingly heavy, Pantera is heavier even.

Both of those albums are some of the best metal albums I've ever heard. The first time I listened to MR it was late autumn and dark, it was amazing. I had BWP and MAYH at that time, they were great but MR hit me like hell. Loved the raw production of the album. The riffs in Advent were more aggressive than anything I had heard before, and the overall atmosphere of the album just left me speechless.
If possible, Orchid made even stronger impression on me. To this day, I haven't heard another album with such sadness and desolation.
