Ok so I got a look at a panino/panini in the wiki and it looks just like a subway sandwich. If you mentioned subway I would have understood .

I checked the picture too and it doesn't look like a panini at all. I've eaten a panini only once and it was flat (after being grilled in a panini grill of some sort.)
