Like it or not..........
Bush will go down as one of the greatest presidents in history.
Time will show that.
 Yer funny....That was a joke right.

Seriously! Can't we just hate someone without everyone else hating us for it?

p.s. I am proud of you guys. Not one person ripped my post to shreds. I am almost kinda dissapointed. But Kudos to you's!

Well he said Iraq had WMD's. And then the UN went in there to "inspect" and we didn't find anything. We found rockets, which had no warheads attatched to them. So........ no explosion. Everything they found over there was "well this could be used with a WMD." But they found no Nuclear, Biological, or Chemical weapons. SSoooooooo you could say he lied about that. And don't try to blaim it on the CIA - Bush is the messanger between the CIA and the People. The CIA admitted they were wrong - but they never bothered to explain where they got the pictures and diagrams from. You guys remember Collen Powell's address to the UN about WMD's in Iraq? Everything he said on that address was wrong - the CIA and the White House admitted the info was "innacurate" yet they still used that address as a basis to start a war. I'm sory - a "conflict." Congress won't call it a war yet. So if the CIA was so quick to turn around and say "whoa! all that shit we said about Iraq is not true!" then you would think maybe the Government would have waited a little longer to start some shit - untill there was a real reason.

There was a huge conflict with North Korea (much more a threat to us then Iraq EVER was) and once this 9/11 shit happened Bush let it all go. He chose to ignore Korea, who was using THREATS against us, to go into........where................ fucking Afghanistan?!?! I'm sorry, why did we do that? Al Queda is spread out all over the globe. Most of the 9/11 Hi-jackers were from Egypt. Yeah ok, let's do a regime change in Afghanistan because they are not Democratic enough for the US. Meanwhile, North Korea has Warheads capable of reaching Hawaii, and potentialy our West Coast, they have a very strong Nuclear program, a very strong chemical/ biological program. They have the strongest genetic engineering program in the world (which could be used for good or evil - so I won't knock them for that. But they are probably doing some nasty shit over there) and on top of all that, they plain threatened us. On top of that, they shoot nukes into South Korea whenever they feel like testing one, and nobody seems to care about any of this. Why? Because Iraq has much more oil then Korea does, and Bush wants to please Daddy.

Here's the part where everyone tells me how stupid I am. Go!!

p.s. I didn't make any of those comments from a political point of view - I am not bashing anyone for being a republican or a democrat. I just think we should be more headstrong towards our enemies and more passive towards our non enemies. Otherwise, these fucking "regime changes" will never end, and our boys will constantly be loosing their lives. Whatever happened to all the love?

So much inaccuracy...so little time.
Just a few....
Yes. Bush said Iraq had WMD......along with Bill Clinton, France, Russia, Germany, the UN, and even the Security Council. Guess they all lied.

Most of the hijackers were not from Egypt, they were from Saudi Arabia. Bin Laden purposely did that to make them look bad since Saudi Arabia kicked him out of their country and is allied with the US. Note to Bin Laden: It didn't work.

We went into Afghanistan because that is where Bin Laden and Al Qaida are concentrated. The Taliban actively supported and harbored them. Yes, Al Qaida has members all over the world, but that was their home.

Of course we treat North Korea very differently. They ALREADY HAVE nuclear weapons (thanks Bill Clinton). The Iraq and North Korean situations are two very different situations that must be handled totally different.

PS - Just because you don't hear of anything going on with North Korea doesn't mean it's being ignored.

Alterior motives for the war? Maybe, but it is not for oil. Better than that....Our ultimate enemy ever since Jimmy Carter let the Shaw of Iran be taken over by Islamic terrorists, Iran has been one of the most, if not THE most, long term problems for us. Slap a democracy in Afghanistan and one in Iraq.....what's in the middle?.....Iran. Not just an Iran, but an Iran that has a majority of their population as young adults that actually LIKE the USA. Put democracies (or something similar) on each side of Iran and we may never have to do anything with Iran. The people of Iran will be doing it themselves.
I say "BRILLIANT" move.

Not that it matters. People like you are not going to be happy with anything Bush does. If Bush sits back and negotiates with Iran and they hit us or Israel, you will be the first one saying Bush "did nothing". If he were to get aggressive and take them out, you'd be the first one saying he should have negotiated.

I believe that history will show Bush to be one of the greatest presidents ever.

Again. Only time will tell.

So will Woodrow Wilson, Lyndon Johnson, and Richard Nixon.

Wait....

Terrible analogy.
What did any of those guys do that were truly great?
I don't think anyone was ever out there claiming these were presidents of any accomplishment.

A better analogy would be Ronald Reagan.
All the same people were saying all the same things that they're saying about Bush, to Reagan.
History has shown Reagan, like it or not, to be one of the greatest presidents that we've ever had.

That same history will look upon Bush as a controversial, but great, president.
:Spin:

Can you be more ingorant than that?? Are u sitting watching cnn all day telling you lies and you believe it all?? Do u realyy believe that Bush went to Iraq and Afganistan to chase terrorists??The family of this stupid murderer that you think he is a great president has done business with the laden family years before!! How old are u?? 14?? Do u know what?? American ordinary people are cool and nice people but the rest of the world will result in bashing against because of your stupid president and braindead people voting for him! Do u know that many people suffer from cancer in Yoguslavia and in nothern Greece because another great president named Bill used rockets with heads of alloy of plutonium in order to achieve greater penetration?? And there u were told that your army was to supposed to help the conflict there.. :Smug: And i wont refer to even more examples because i will to sad! Make us a favor and commit suicide...! This is the least u can do for the rest of humanity!!! You and your stupid president..

Anyone that still thinks that this is a war over oil is not even worth debating. Tell Michael Moore I said hello. :Spin:

Sorry, it took me a while to actually come up with a reply.

Woodrow Wilson, though a racist and against womens rights of any kind, did give women the right to vote, even if it was a strictly politcal move.

Lyndon Johnson was responsable for The Great Society program. Johnson's agenda for Congress in January 1965: aid to education, attack on disease, Medicare, urban renewal, beautification, conservation, development of depressed regions, a wide-scale fight against poverty, control and prevention of crime and delinquency, removal of obstacles to the right to vote. (From Whitehouse.gov)

Nixon, on the otherhand, will never live down the crap he did.

"Decent" is a very subjective term. What you deem "decent", I may not...and vice-versa.

Taking on terrorist organizations that have been growing and attacking you over the last 30 years is a major task. All presidents since Carter have had to deal with this, but, for the most part, chose to stick their heads in the sand.
This war has to be fought.
Granted, Bush would have probably stuck his head in the sand too, until 9-11.

The fact is that groups like Al Qaida have sworn to eliminate the USA. Bush has the opportunity to take on this great task of defeating this enemy. He has done so. That in itself is a great accomplishment. (I won't even bother to go into some of the great domestic issues that he has pursued....and some not so great...border security being one of those. I am not happy about that so I wouldn't argue.)

I wouldn't be so naive as to what the terrorist plans are if I were you. If Al Qaida were to defeat the US (which they won't), they'd be coming after you next. And who would be there to help you?

You may want to rethink who your enemy is.

Giving women the right to vote was going to happen.
Giving Wilson credit for that is like giving Clinton credit for welfare reform after it was shoved down his throat.
BUT, I'll give them credit none-the-less for signing those bills into law.

Ah yes...the Great Society.
What was that?
"Aid to Education"? - Our public school system is a failure.
"Attack on desease"? - I see no evidence of this having an affect on anything, but I'll give you that.
"Medicare"? - You mean the thing we've been trying to fix for decades?
"Urban Renewal"? - Maybe you should fill me in on which urban areas those are. Last I saw, LA, New York, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, New Orleans, et all are still sh!tholes.
"Beautification and Conservation"? - Fine.
"Development of depressed regions" - Fill me in on those too.
"wide-scale fight against poverty" - And what a wonderful job he did with that one. :err:
"control and prevention of crime and delinquency" - (see above answer)
"removal of obstacles to the right to vote." - OK you got me. That was a good one.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not here to argue or bash anyone.
I'm just the lone voice to the other side of the arguement.
Afterall, what's the fun of all of you bashing Bush without someone here to stand up for him?

Rock on.
