See I knew someone would come along and blame everything I said on my hatred for Bush. It is always after I say that my views are not one sided that someone slates me as a close minded bush hater. Sorry, you're only half right!
Yeah you were totally right, great move going to Afghanistan - they found Bin Ladded in no time!!! Iran? Sure they are a threat - but do you really think surrounding them with Democracy is going to make them love us? Isreal has our weapons, our scientist, our soldiers, and our engineers. If anyone had the balls to go into Isreal and really start some shit, we would be there in an hour (probably less). We are neighbors with Canada and they still disagree with half the shit we do. But according to you how could they? They are sitting right next to the largest Democracy in the world! How on Earth do they resist us? I agree Iran is a threat - I agree it's being overlooked, but I do not agree that Iran is the cause for this war. They went into Afghanistan and Iraq for no reason - if they really wanted Iran, they could jump in there and have it turned into glass in a week.
And yeah - a lot of people thought Iraq was a threat. THOUGHT Iraq was a threat. But Clinton and the UN could not prove it. They never went as far as to make up a huge, bogus address to the UN with all this fake evidence. They never did anything because they didn't know for sure. Hell, I thought Iraq was hiding something too, but they were not. A lot of people thought Iraq had shit out the wazoo - the evidence was so in your face how could you not think it? But that's the issue - the evidence was not right. The evidence was more or less fake. I'm not saying it's Bush's fault (although maybe he could have looked a little closer instead of taking another vacation) but someone fucked up big time.
And saying someone is a "Possible Saudi national" does not make them a Saudi national. This is the term the FBI was and is currently using. Maybe they were - what does it matter? I don't see us going into Saudi Arabia and doing anything about it. Not that we should, the action of a few suicidal murderers should not represent how we relate to the country of their origin. But, still, something tells me we didn't go over there and knock on a few doors because our economy is hanging on by a Saudi thread.
