I have a friend going to graduate school in Oahu and she says there is a huge homeless problem on the island. She can't walk two blocks from her apartment without being bombarded.

Unfortunately, your job stbility wasn't guaranteed at the university either

I can imagine they have a bad homeless problem. Shit, when my grandma went there about 8 or 9 years ago, she said that just crappy McDonalds cheesburger meals cost around 7 or 8 dollars. I can't imagine what housing and stuff like that costs.
