Any experiences on this one?I ran across these on web and they are cheaper than radials x amp.Does it sound cheap too?
Cheers:kickass::kickass::kickass:

Used the ProRMP for a while now, haven't had any problems with it at all, or the sound I get with it. Marcus (Metaltastic) did a shootout of all the popular reamp units, I even shipped him my ProRMP to include in the shootout. Do a search and check it out.

"The Daccapo takes care of all impedance matching issues "
how?
I have always wondered how it (reamp boxes) knows what impedance your source signal device / instrument is...

chrism3006 has one, bought it to replace his X-Amp because it's so noisy and he seems to like it. Haven't talked to him in a while about it, but maybe shoot him a PM?

I've got one. I haven't had a chance to use it on anything proper yet, but I mucked about with a few tests to make sure everything worked etc. and it seems pretty good. It's tiny (only 9cm long), built like a tank and the build quality is fantastic. The volume control has a huge range - about 12 o'clock is as loud as my guitar. There's no noise at that level, and not much even when it's cranked.

One thing I've found though - I took a DI guitar track, ran it out into the Daccapo and back into the DI (it was the easiest way to check the volume control at the time), and there was phasing between the original and the reamped versions. They weren't just out of alignment, they acted like a phaser. I don't know if that's normal or not, as I've never used a reamp box before. Not a huge issue, but it means you couldn't use your original amp/mic'd tracks and your reamped tracks together. Two reamped tracks together cancel each other perfectly though.

I have it and use it on all my projects sounds just as good as my X-amp but there is a switch for -10 input on it, so I don't have to crank the gain on it so its much quieter than my X-amp.

And its yellow, what more could you want?

Something reamped with the palmer:

I didn't gate the guitars at all, normally I'd do it manually but this was only a tone test, should give an idea of how quiet it runs.

EDIT:

Steve, the phase issues are probably caused by the delay caused to the signal as it went through the round trip. If you slide it back into time in your DAW it should work absolutely fine, mine does, I use a test tone to align it perfectly.

Nah, that's what I was saying: Two re-amped tracks are fine, they just need lining up - but the original track and a re-amped one phase with each other like a phaser. They aren't just out of phase, I actually get a really slow-cycling 'jet plane' effect. Even if the first samples are exactly aligned, they still swoosh with each other. I use a test tone as well, and that does it too.

Bumping it a little bit.

Considering to buy one, can anyone who own it for this period tell me if it worth it? is it good?

I own one.. It's the one I use and I haven't used any other reamp-box..
Though I have used a passive DI in reverse.. and that sounded like shit..

I did some blindtests last year with a few people and it was 50/50 on what sound they preferred..
The tests I've made for myself, I'm happy with the results..

I guess there's still no good info on it, online.. unfortunatly it's what they written on their homepage that comes printed on an A4 with the box itself..
So, I can't give any further info..
