great i think i gonna get it!
but WHY do they put only XLR input? since we connect it to the soundcard, and most of soundcards have balanced PL out.. now i have to use an adapter.. which might affect the signal.. am i correct?

No, just use a cable with a TRS plug in one end and XLR in one end. It's perfectly normal.
shit happens. i have a friend coming from france bringing me the palmer. (they dont sell it over here). anyway the only store which seems to have it in paris dont have it in stock for this week so im fucked up. doesnt seem worth to pay 109euros for a ProRMP

Shit sounds ridiculously thin coming out of my amp, I had exactly the same issue with an X-amp before too though, so it's not the unit itself, unless I miraculously got 2 defective units with exactly the same issue.
